![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Shiloh SoundChris Wade (Nudibranch, Orlock), John Partin (RPG), John Peters ( Alabama Thunder Pussy), and John Skaritza (Men's Recovery Project, Rah Bras) formed the seminal band, hose.got.cable. They played together from November 1992-December 1995 and had a small reunion in december 3, 1999-december 5, 1999. Live shows consited of amps being knocked over or taken apart, bloody fingers, noises that shouldn't come from guitars, frequent acrobatic near-misses that would have insured a trip to the hospital, and an inclusive energy which made you believe you were celebrating some sort of victory. I was left always wanting more. This release compiles their first 7 inch single (self-titled), double 7 inch ("Antidisestestlishmentarianismesque"), full-length ("Majesty"), and two tracks which appeared on compilations - all have been out of print for years. Click here to see their original site “…This band was phenomenal. Every time they played they broke their equipment and one of them ended up getting hurt…‘Chevy Chase, Motherfucker’ is an out of control punk epic that shows their understanding of how to be intense and at the same time heavy without sounding metal. Bands like this don’t exist anymore because creativity doesn’t seem to be respected much in the punk community these days. For every DIY punk or hardcore record that comes out these days, I’d much rather sit and listen to hose.got.cable.” -Nate Newton of Converge and Doomriders from “Law of Inertia” magazine Bret Payne also makes music by himself as Bonefolder. Soon you and his neighbors can make sense of those noises that have been coming from his house and concoct your own story about his odd schedule, late night excursions, and why he doesn't seem to ever have the time to mow his lawn. ![]()
